If you are looking to change your life by helping to change the life of another, this is where you belong. ROL Veterans Team was formed in January 2019. Team meets once a month for coffee, donuts, and opportunities to get to know the horses here at Reins. Sessions include horse-handling skills, feedings, veterinary and farrier visits while bonding with our herd. Sam Nusbaum, PATH Intl. Registered and Equine Services for Heroes Instructor keeps things flexible based on interests of team members, horsemanship goals and the goals of our veterans.

Our ROL Veterans Team is an important part of helping our equine-partners be the best they can be for the children and adults with disabilities that we serve. Veterans get to know our herd and partner with our horses to help our horses meet their goals.

Reins of Life also offers retreats for Active Duty military to work with horses, learn equine-training techniques and get to know the herds here at the barn. Retreats are safe, fun and flexible in scheduling and can be tailored toward the group's interests.
