Brenna Pizarek
Feeder Coordinator (South Bend)
In 2022, Brenna experienced the powerful benefits of equine assisted mental health therapy while going through a hard chapter of life. Then in the spring of 2023, her family experienced a form of a shock trauma when her daughter was involved in a car accident where she was ejected from the vehicle. At the time, Brenna could only afford to put one of them through trauma therapy, so she got her daughter into therapy and Brenna decided to start volunteering as a feeder at Reins of Life. Knowing the benefit of simply being around horses for nervous system regulation, as well as cognitive and emotional healing, she knew it would benefit her in many ways as well as feed her heart as a form of serving the community.
In June of 2024, Brenna was welcomed into the position of the Feeder Coordinator in South Bend. She is beyond humbled to be part of the staff at such an amazing organization. Having had a profound passion for horses for her entire life, Reins of Life has provided her with an environment that feeds her soul in a way that she could never have imagined!
Brenna loves that the heart is the center of it all at Reins of Life. She has been able to witness just how much heart and soul goes into everything from every single staff member. Everyone truly cares about the community they serve and the horses in a way that is like none other.
